NORTHEAST KINGDOM- Temperatures are expected to reach close to 80 degrees this week, which means Summer is fast approaching. As a result, it's important to make sure your car is well maintained before taking summer vacations.
According to AAA, higher temperatures can take a toll on cars just as much colder temperatures. Below are some tips to help you prepare your car for you Summer trips.
Bob Betrand of Metric Wrench in St. Johnsbury spent time at the Lyndon Baptist Church in Lyndonville on Saturday to inform drivers what some small tips to improve their car for the winter.
"It's a good idea to take care of your car," said Betrand. "[It] gives you better performance, better fuel economy, and your safer so it's a real good idea to have preventable maintenece done on it."
Despite the warm tempatures the offical start to summer is June 21st.
